While the rest of the United States was begging for snow, the Northwest was blasted with a huge storm. First it dumped snow and the snow storm was followed by Freezing Rain. The results we disastrous for much of the area. As usual, I was rewarded with three days off of work. Unfortunately, for two of those days we were without power (which was nothing compared to some areas). Many of our neighbors lost trees and roads were closed all over the place. Without a 4-wheel drive car you were stuck for several days. Rob and I made the most of it by skiing, snowmobiling, and even spending one powerless afternoon hanging out at the Old Country Buffet enjoying their power and warm food. It was a storm we will not soon forget.
